As Taksicim Mobile Technology (“Taksicim”), we monitor your personal data as the data controller within the Taksicim Sürücü app and prioritize the protection and privacy of your information.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) has been prepared to inform users about the information processed within the Taksicim Sürücü app, how we use this information, the responsibilities of users, and Taksicim’s rules regarding the protection of confidential information.

As Taksicim, we process the following information within the scope of the processes carried out on our Taksicim Sürücü app:
• Identity: Name and surname, date of birth, Driver ID.
• Contact: Mobile phone, email, region of work, district, and address information.
• Vehicle Information: Vehicle type, vehicle make and model, license plate.
• Trip Information: Trip route, starting and ending points, addresses, trip dates, times and durations, information about trip cancellations, trip amount, and number of trips.
• Payment Information: Bank/payment account information, IBAN, payment amounts, dates, payment details, commission information.
• Location Information: Instant location information obtained through your mobile device.
• Transaction Security: Device type, device operating system version, IP address, user transaction records on the app, and password.
• Driver Performance Information: Driver performance data for trips, including driver trip rate and cash trip average.
• Loyalty Program Information: Driver status, star/gift points, gifts received, and trip information.
• Risk Management: Information regarding the prevention of suspicious or illegal transactions, and penalty points based on driver reviews.
• Other: Photo, bus stop name, bus stop location, reference driver information, driver type, pet transportation status, contact permission information, time registered in the system, time spent in availability, request and complaint information, call center call information, ratings, reviews, and tip information given to drivers, ratings and reviews given by drivers to passengers, discount/fringe benefits/gift card information granted to drivers, and referred driver and customer information.
We collect your personal data through automatic and partially automatic methods. In certain cases, we also collect your data through non-automatic methods, provided that it is part of a physical data recording system (for example, if you physically submit information or documents to us). 2. To systematically register Taksicim drivers,
To assess the suitability of drivers for the services offered by Taksicim,
To manage driver membership agreement processes,
To complete membership registration and membership processes for the driver mobile application,
To ensure that passengers are matched with suitable drivers within Taksicim’s operational processes,
To ensure that drivers and passengers confirm their locations and meet at the designated location,
To manage communication between Taksicim drivers and passengers (your contact information is not shared with passengers),
To manage operational processes related to drivers and trips,
To manage financial and accounting processes related to payments,
To communicate with drivers and manage relationships with them,
To conduct studies aimed at driver satisfaction,
To manage driver loyalty program processes; To ensure that drivers benefit from privileges commensurate with their system usage skills and commitment,
To plan and conduct meetings and events for drivers,
To conduct analyses to improve our services,
To monitor and finalize requests/complaints,
To receive and evaluate feedback to improve our services,
To inform you about campaigns and special offers,
To collaborate with third parties regarding special offers,
To conduct irregularity checks to ensure the security and continuity of Taksicim operations,
To inform you about innovations, updates, and errors in the Driver mobile application,
To inform you about changes to operational procedures,
To manage processes related to trip cancellations and cancellation fees,
To conduct our operations in accordance with legislation,
To ensure the security of Taksicim operations,
To manage driver discipline; to impose disciplinary sanctions for behaviors that violate Taksicim rules and practices,

To review and audit our business activities. Passengers can rate and comment on drivers through the Taksicim app, just as drivers can rate and comment on passengers through the Taksicim Driver app. Passenger ratings and comments are only visible to Taksicim and are not accessible by the passenger.
This process is carried out to ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring that parties with low ratings are not paired with each other, to prioritize passengers with high ratings in operational processes, to improve and develop our services, and to consider rating/review information in potential disputes.
3. Legal Grounds We Rely on When Processing Your Personal Data
When processing your personal data, we rely on the legal grounds set forth in Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Law. Below, we have listed the legal grounds we rely on when processing your personal data:

To facilitate communication between drivers and passengers, ensure that drivers and passengers confirm their locations and meet at the designated location, inform passengers about the Taksicim driver they are matched with, and ensure the most convenient journeys.

To obtain support from suppliers regarding our services, handle financial and accounting transactions related to payments, collaborate with third parties regarding special offers for Taksicim drivers, and manage relationships with business partners and suppliers.
• Authorized Persons, Institutions, or Organizations:
To provide information to authorized persons, institutions, or organizations, carry out legal processes, and conduct our activities in accordance with legislation.
The map application uses the Google Maps infrastructure.
5. Exercising Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law, which pertains to the rights of data subjects, regulates certain rights you have, such as requesting the correction of your personal data and learning to whom we have transferred your data. You can use the following methods to submit your requests to Taksicim regarding this article:
You can fill out the Personal Data Application Form available at www.taksicim.net or in the mobile application. You can send an email to kisiselveriler@taksicim.net from the email address registered in our systems. You may choose other methods specified in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller.
6. Storage and Protection of Your Personal Data
Your information is stored for the period required for the purpose for which we collect it. If legislation stipulates a specific retention period for your information, this period is adhered to.
Taksicim takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to protect the systems, servers, and databases where your information is stored against data security threats (cyber attacks, hashing, etc.).
The user acknowledges that they are entirely responsible for the security, storage, and safeguarding of the system access tools (username, password, etc.) used to benefit from the services offered by Taksicim through the mobile application, and keeping them safe from third-party access.
7. Accuracy and Timeliness of Your Personal Data
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the information you provide to us. Your information must be provided to us accurately and updated if there are any changes. In this context, you can update the information you have shared with Taksicim at any time through the mobile application or by calling +1505 397 55 90. When you provide information to TAKSİCİM on behalf of someone else, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right/authorization to share this information with Taksicim.
8. Redirects to Third Parties
The Taksicim Driver app may redirect to third-party links that are not operated by Taksicim. When visiting any of these links, you are subject to the privacy policies and terms of use of the third party you are visiting. Taksicim is not responsible for the policies and practices of such third parties.
9. Changes to the Mobile App and This Policy
Taksicim reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the services, information, visuals, and other elements offered through the Taksicim Driver app without prior notice. Taksicim reserves the right to make changes and updates to this Policy. Following the current version of the Policy is the user’s responsibility.
10. Liability
Taksicim is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages or expenses that may arise as a result of any errors, interruptions, delays, viruses, line and/or system failures that may occur during the use of the Taksicim Driver application.
